Introduction
“We are all Indians” (Pages 105-111) is the closing chapter of the Mridang Class 2 English textbook. It celebrates India’s cultural diversity by introducing children to characters from different states across India. Each character introduces themselves by sharing:
- Their name
- The state they come from
- The language they speak
- Their favourite activity, festival, or interest
Through these introductions, the chapter emphasizes that despite coming from different parts of India, we are all united as Indians – the core message of “Unity in Diversity”.
