मुहावरा (Idiom)
परिभाषा: ऐसा वाक्यांश जो अपने साधारण (शाब्दिक) अर्थ को छोड़कर किसी विशेष अर्थ को प्रकट करता है, ‘मुहावरा’ कहलाता है।
- विशेष तथ्य:
- मुहावरा पूर्ण वाक्य नहीं होता, यह वाक्य का एक अंश (वाक्यांश) होता है।
- इसके अंत में प्रायः ‘ना’ (क्रिया रूप) आता है।
- यह लिंग, वचन और कारक के अनुसार वाक्य में अपना रूप बदल लेता है।
